Garden Pests

I mentioned in an earlier blog post that for our fall/winter GrowDammit crop we planted collards, swiss chard and brussel sprouts in the flower garden near the deck in hopes that this would deter the wildlife from using them for supper.  No such luck.  Something has been chomping away on them.

The other night, Farmer Ted was in the garage and heard something munching.  He grabbed a flashlight and went to investigate.  Who was the culprit?

Bambi?

No

Thumper?

No

Punxatawny Phil?

No

Here’s who he found feasting away…

Oh…. That’s for another blog post. Yeah… The Dragon got his FILL of a garbage plate.

  3. I don’t think what the garbage plate did to the Dragon rates a blog post. Unless we want all 12 people who read the blog to abandon us.

I have to believe that many more than 12 people read the blog. I read it all the time!

Tell me about it Aly. Before we moved the blog to Word Press, We were getting A LOT of traffic, Now??? Not so much. I’ve spoken with plenty of people who follow the blog but according to the numbers that we see? It ain’t happening. I don’t get it. (Is the main reason why our posts are so few and far in between.
